3D Visualisation of Banquet Hall

Project Overview

The 3D Visualization for Wedding Banquet Hall Design project aims to create a comprehensive and realistic representation of a banquet hall's interior.

Project Details

Conceptualization and Design

Client wanted pink /peach interiors with accented silverwares. The mirrors and heavy chandeliers of the banquet gave the richness I was was looking forward.

Modeling and Texturing

Table and chair models were sourced from open3dmodels.com I draped them with some table clothes using 3dsmax max and created some textures using nice Damask design bumps.

In the next step I export the models to Lumion for rendering. The idea behind it was to use the Lumion library of cutleries and decorative items for fast delivering of the project.

One of the most intriguing challenges was replicating natural and artificial lighting scenarios. Accurate lighting played a pivotal role in bringing the 3D scenes to life. Experimentation with different light sources, angles, and intensities allowed for the creation of rich mood . The mirrors possessed a extra challenge of refection and lighting effect in Lumion.

The Chandelier was modelled in 3ds max using small beads of low level poly and glass material with 50% transparency and self illumination with give it a soft yet bright look.

Rendering and Post-Production

There is almost no Post production work. I had just adjusted the brightness and colour tone to add a little dramatisation.

The most rewarding phase was the presentation of the 3D visualizations to my employer who loved the fast yet beautiful outcome.
